Description

• Install and configure new equipment, including mechanical assembly, electrical connections, and pneumatic setup.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic principles.
• Perform repairs ranging from component replacement to system overhauls and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance; prepare required reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Apply mechanical knowledge of power transmission, bearings, gears, and hydraulics.

Requirements

The Mechanical Equipment Technician role seeks highly‑skilled, motivated individuals to install, maintain, and ensure optimal performance and reliability of diverse equipment. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, documentation, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

• Hold an associate’s degree or technical certification in mechanical, industrial, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year hands‑on experience as an equipment technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Read electrical schematics, troubleshoot circuits, and work safely with AC/DC motors and control systems.
• Understand pneumatic components such as valves, cylinders, and actuators.
• Demonstrate strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing.

The U.S. base hourly rate for this full‑time position is $32/hr, with eligibility for bonus and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and geographic location, and actual compensation will reflect factors such as work location, skills, experience, and education.
