In this leadership role, the manager will support the regional discipline’s vision, work closely with other department leaders, and contribute to business development initiatives while ensuring high‑quality project delivery.
- Lead the Bridges & Structures team and shape the regional discipline strategy.
- Collaborate with department managers and the Regional Discipline Leader.
- Drive marketing, business development, and cross‑selling of company services.
- Monitor work backlog, allocate resources, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, quality, and budget goals.
- Provide technical assistance for proposals, contracts, and new business pursuits.
- Manage financial aspects of the team, including budgeting and revenue targets.

Successful candidates will possess a civil engineering degree, an Ohio professional engineer license, and extensive bridge engineering experience, along with proven leadership and communication abilities.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and an Ohio PE license (or reciprocity).
- Bring 10+ years of bridge engineering experience, with 7+ years in proposal preparation and budget management.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, planning, and staff management capabilities.
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
