Engage with Brookfield’s and Oaktree’s internal and external legal counsel throughout negotiation of agreements with wealth management intermediaries.
Assist in responding to due diligence queries from prospective investors specific to the legal structure of Brookfield and Oaktree funds.
Advise the business on cross border sale of US and EU funds together with any offshore feeder funds into jurisdictions across EMEA.
Engage with personnel from technology platform partners that Brookfield contracts with to develop feeder fund structures for onshore and offshore distribution of products through wealth management intermediaries.
Negotiate distribution agreements, selling agreements and other product distribution-related agreements with the wealth management intermediary channels and platforms in relation to Brookfield and Oaktree private fund and evergreen products.
Strong client orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to give commercial advice and guidance to internal clients.
Licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the UK.
2+ years of experience, previous in-house experience would be a bonus but will consider candidates from private practice with good experience with a focus on private funds and/or evergreen offerings and distribution-related matters.

Able to establish priorities, work on multiple assignments, meet competing deadlines and work in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment.
Resourceful, commercial and proactive when issues arise.
