The Fleet Manager will oversee all maintenance processes for Sandvik SMR equipment on the Eldorado Gold Lamaque site, collaborating with planners, superintendents and site mechanics to ensure efficient operation.
- Develop, implement and coordinate maintenance plans for SMR fleet with site planners and superintendents.
- Provide analysis, feedback and solutions to improve equipment operation and meet KPI targets.
- Commission new equipment and conduct performance inspections, fault diagnosis and testing of repaired units.
- Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports and parts lists.
- Conduct audits of SMR equipment with Eldorado Gold Lamaque maintenance team and deliver written reports.
- Deliver training to mechanics and collaborate on troubleshooting system issues.

The role requires a technical college diploma or equivalent, heavy‑duty equipment mechanic certification, and at least five years of service experience in mining maintenance, with strong analytical, planning and communication skills and a valid driver’s licence.
- College diploma in a technical field or comparable experience.
- Heavy‑duty equipment mechanic certification (or equivalent).
- Minimum five years of service experience in maintenance and service operations, preferably in mining.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make data‑driven recommendations.
- Experience with Sandvik products and with planning/scheduling.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
