Proficient with Microstation and Inroads
Extensive experience with layout & design of bridges and related highway structures
Valid multi-State Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in PA. Licenses in surrounding states such as MD, NJ, DE and/or NY is a plus
Well versed in PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission standards, procedures and specifications
Ability to work independently and as part of a project team
Familiarity with design and analysis using various materials including steel, precast and cast-in-place concrete; prestressed and post-tensioned concrete and timber.
Valid Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in Pennsylvania
Possesses knowledge/understanding of finite element and 2D/3D modeling program(s)
Familiarity with rehabilitation of existing bridges and other highway structures
Comfortable performing in an environment that requires independent evaluation, judgment and decision making
Possesses knowledge of PennDOT design software
Minimum of 5+ years of project engineering experience
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate with others to explore alternative solutions
