As a Field Specialist you will work onsite with customers, delivering routine services for water and process chemical treatment programs. You will continuously develop your knowledge and skills to provide innovative solutions, while collaborating closely with experienced engineers and specialists. The role combines field analytical work, inventory management, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Provide support to measure product performance of existing programs; conduct and report field test results; monitor tests and operating parameters; communicate results to supervisor.
- Complete required training via the LEAD–Field Specialist Development Program, covering HS&E, compliance, oilfield industry, and basic product line services.
- Assist in knowledge transfer based on customer feedback, field work, and experience.
- Learn to operate product line tools and services under supervision and progress to independent execution.
- Conduct field analytical work to collect, generate, and interpret data while managing chemical inventories.
- Perform product inventory management tasks, including reporting, ordering, and delivery.
- Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements, and core values.
- Offer contemporary work‑life balance policies and wellbeing activities.

- Hold an accredited qualification or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related science (beneficial).
- Possess experience and understanding of OIC Upstream business.
- Have 2–3 years of experience in a similar field operations role.
- Demonstrate understanding of chemistry, materials, process flows, and petroleum engineering concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse cultural team.
