Description
Plan and hire staff to align with strategic objectives, managing organizational structure.
Directly engage with clients and regulatory agencies to establish and deepen relationships and improve brand visibility.
Drive effective client engagement strategies from client contact approaches through all stages of business development, from identification and generation of project opportunities through capture, proposal preparation, interview and winning work.
Identify and help attract local area engineering talent to grow the business.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with team members, clients, and contractors.
Identify and build relationships with professional services firms for strategic alliances and partnerships across the South and NASA.
Lead and implement our strategy and approach to effective participation in area conferences and professional events.
Develop and implement, in coordination with the Water Market & Practice Leads, a growth plan for the South Division, initially focused on the Florida/Georgia marketplace. Understand and articulate client needs, working closely with Portfolio Managers, Strategic Market and Account Leads to pursue opportunities and drive business development.
Drive Division water sales and bookings, mine existing contracts to maximize bookings; identify, track and capture new contract opportunities.
Ensure quality deliverables in WIN and DO phases through effective QA/QC processes.
Recommend salary increases, bonuses, promotions, and prepare necessary documentation; ensure mandatory staff training and compliance with health and safety reporting.
Oversee ethics and compliance within the Division’s Water Group; adhere to BMS WIN and DO processes and ensure timesheet compliance.
Creating and maintaining a collaborative and respectful culture that encourages excellence, innovation, and learning.
Visibly participate in area trade and engineering societies and associations; promote staff engagement.
Build Mott MacDonald’s brand in the target area.
Manage utilization targets and resource requirements for project work.
Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and improve profit profitability and team performance.
