As a Property Accountant, you will oversee the full financial operations and reporting for a portfolio of retail properties. You’ll apply your technical accounting expertise to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial activities while providing meaningful insights that support both business decisions and client relationships.
The job requires sufficient manual dexterity for typing and operating office equipment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to travel to locations for on-site financial operations and coordination
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a multi-entity environment.
Proficient in preparing and reviewing monthly financial packages, journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly accruals.
Ability to lift 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
The job requires sufficient visual acuity to read data on a computer screen or printed documents
Ability to operate a passenger vehicle

Strong understanding of GAAP, full-cycle accounting, and accrual-based financial reporting.
Salary for this role ranges from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience and professional credentials. Candidates with a CPA or other relevant certification may be eligible for compensation toward the higher end of the range.
