Ten years of progressively responsible engineering experience
Fifteen years of progressively responsible engineering experience
Knowledge of Local Agency jurisdictional requirements for Roadway Design.
Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of the AASHTO “Geometric Design of Highway and Street”
Demonstrated knowledge of the Nebraska Department of Transportation or City of Lincoln, NE roadway projects and/or Experience with the City of Omaha, Sarpy, and Douglas County, and/or other local agencies preferred
Experience with roadway design, hydrologic and hydraulic computations, computer modeling, and presentation of results.
Knowledge of Public Improvement Plan layouts, design, processes, and procedures.
Registered Professional Civil Engineer License
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree from an EAC/ABET, CEAB-accredited engineering program, or program that is meeting the NCEES Engineering Education Standard
