Tasks
-Participate in training so that you grow and develop as a professional. -Monitor the location and status of all plumbers to ensure they arrive at their designated appointments on time. -Strategically dispatch the right technician to the right job, leveraging a data-driven approach. -Ensure a quality customer experience by relaying detailed and accurate information to the technicians in the field. -Proactively communicate with customers to manage expectations and provide appointment updates. -Update customers throughout the day on the technician’s progress. -Prioritize urgent service requests to ensure immediate customer and company needs are met. -Utilize dispatching software and other computer programs to ensure all job details and customer records are accurate. -Complete all assigned administrative tasks in a timely and accurate fashion. -Provide ongoing support to plumbers in the field, helping them with scheduling issues. -Collaborate closely with the Customer Experience Manager to continuously refine and improve dispatching strategy. -Manage and adjust daily schedules for all field technicians to maximize efficiency and productivity. -Record and report the service calls. -Professionally engage with clients to understand their needs and address any issues or concerns. -Proactively communicate with clients to notify them of any delays, and reschedule appointments as necessary.

What You Bring
-3+ years of experience in a dispatch or customer service role, preferably in a service-based industry. -Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. -Exceptional attention to detail and ability to make data-driven decisions. -Proficiency with computer software, including dispatching systems, mapping tools, and standard office applications. -Strong geographical knowledge of Arlington Heights and surrounding areas. -Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. -Learn the business and learn how to prioritize the most urgent customer calls.
