The Approved Electrician is tasked with installing, inspecting, testing and maintaining electrical and electromechanical systems across our portfolio. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, assembling wiring and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high‑quality service to clients. The role also involves planning daily work, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting apprentice electricians.
We seek an electrician with a Level 3 qualification, at least three years of practical experience, and familiarity with the social housing sector. Candidates must hold 18th Edition certification and demonstrate strong analytical, communication and safety‑focused skills, comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces and in varied weather conditions. A flexible attitude, ability to build effective relationships and a clean driving licence are essential.
