Accountable owner and go to person for all strategic activities related to labor services / contractors including but not limited to: year over year expense budget planning and profiling, KPI’s/action plans and daily management routines, in year reporting of actuals versus plan for headcount / cost and establishing a cost productivity roadmap to drive deflation savings.
Nurture and grow cross functional partnerships to ensure engineering’s endeavors align with sourcing and finance plans (one team). This includes collaboration, awareness, and deliberate sharing of contract vendors/scope/negotiations across functional and business lines as necessary in order to ensure a cohesive “one-team” approach to contractor management.
Establish regular reporting rhythms (with a deck of pages as needed) to share progress, address pain points and agree on the elevated business narratives we want to share in this space.
Drive indirect labor savings by working horizontally across Nuclear Engineering and identifying opportunities such as bundling similar work scope for volume purchasing, limiting non-preferred suppliers, and reducing the total number of suppliers used. This may involve bench marking others like GE Vernova counterparts.
Be the Nuclear Engineering expert for all things related to labor services and contractor management.
Accountable owner and go to person for all procurement support related activities associated with labor services / contractors including but not limited to: scoping discussions, guidance on contractor type / agency, competitive bidding, process governance, work scope duration, VMS (vendor management system) entries/upkeep and off-boarding ... all this, in compliance with local labor laws.
Ensure proper implementation & daily management routines of Key Performance Indicators as well as associated action plans to drive successful outcomes.
Develop and/or enhance standard work to ensure process governance while embracing lean to problem solve and value stream map the processes to seek continuous improvement and drive productivity.

Prior Engineering experience in the Nuclear Industry preferred

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business/engineering
Prior finance/supply chain experience preferred
Presentation skills: ability to effectively communicate with Senior Leadership.
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Engineering, or related discipline
Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
