You will develop and execute preventive maintenance programmes, coordinating with in‑house teams and external service providers to keep repairs and inspections on schedule. Regulatory compliance will be maintained by staying current with UK transportation laws, conducting audits, and working closely with authorities. Safety protocols will be implemented and enforced, including driver training, incident investigation and corrective actions, while accurate documentation and reporting keep management informed. Vendor management will ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality services.
As a Transport and Compliance Manager you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of our transportation fleet. The role is permanent, full‑time, Monday to Friday (40 hours) with a salary based on experience, a company vehicle and a fuel card. Due to continued growth we are seeking a candidate with a Transport Manager CPC qualification to join our Transport Division and deliver effective fleet solutions.
The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and strong communication and interpersonal abilities. You must hold a full UK driver’s licence, a Transport Manager CPC, and preferably experience with maintenance software and record‑keeping systems. A commitment to the highest standards of safety and compliance, and the ability to diagnose issues quickly and deliver practical solutions, are essential.
