  • Promote an equitable, inclusive and collaborative workplace.

  • Experience in Disaster Recovery planning and testing
  • Experience in setting up and/or building up a new IT team would beneficial

  • Project Management Certification from a body such as APM or PMI (Desirable).

  • A minimum NFQ level 8 degree in Computer Science\IT\Engineering or other relevant discipline is required.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in a similar lead role within IT
  • Ability to work on own initiative with strong multitasking capabilities
  • Experience with the following technologies:
  • Experience working within an Information Security Management System (ISMS) including managing and evidencing controls
  • Extensive senior information technology experience combining a management lead role with hands-on experience across a range of technologies as detailed below
  • InTune and Windows Defender
  • A fully completed Key Achievements Form (attached).
  • Security tools including Anti-Virus, Endpoint protection and Web/Email Filtering
  • Membership of a related professional organisation or be in a position to apply for membership (Desirable).
  • Experience of managing a team and a significant workload
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Experience in IT Governance in procurement, security and budget management

  • Pensionable Age: The minimum age at which pension is payable is 66.
  • Retirement Age: Scheme members must retire on reaching the age of 70.
  • Career average earnings are used to calculate benefits (a pension and lump sum amount accrue each year and are up-rated each year by reference to CPI).
