What you would be doing
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors and labor consultants.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain debtor records.
- Maintain accurate accounting entries in Tally/ERP system.
- Maintain statutory registers and documentation as per applicable laws.
- Generate receivables reports and assist in cash flow planning.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers/clients.
- Ensure timely challan generation, payment, and filing of returns for ESIC, PF, and other statutory obligations.
- Process vendor invoices, verify bills, and maintain accurate payable records.
- Monitor incoming payments and update accounting records.
- Stay updated on statutory rule changes and implement updates accordingly.
- Assist in monthly closing activities, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger scrutiny.
- Create and manage employee records for ESIC and Provident Fund (PF) registration.
- Track due dates and ensure timely payments to vendors and service providers.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain vendor ledger accounts and generate aging reports.
