The Operations Support Team Leader is a 12‑month fixed‑term role based in London, reporting to Edward Knox. It sits within the Operations department and is responsible for driving operational resilience and business continuity across the organisation, supporting CFC's ambitious growth trajectory.
In this position you will oversee and enhance centralised underwriting processes, including file reviews, guidance, change requests for the quote and bind platform, and the underwriting authority workflow. You will also create and monitor service standards to ensure the team delivers valuable support to the business.
You will line‑manage a small team of coordinators, providing training, mentorship and performance oversight to maintain high quality and consistency. Part of your remit includes developing reporting frameworks and improving processes to make output measurable and efficient.
The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with strong organisational and process‑driven skills, a solid understanding of the insurance market, and experience in an operational role. You must have proven line‑management experience, the ability to engage with multiple stakeholder levels, and demonstrate adaptability, time‑management and a commitment to excellence.
