Perform hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for water resource projects, provide technical analysis, support project management tasks, and mentor junior staff.
Develop and calibrate hydraulic and hydrologic models for a variety of projects, ensuring accurate representation of system behavior
Mentor junior staff, providing guidance in modeling techniques, project workflows, and professional development
Collaborate on the preparation of technical reports, design documentation, and engineering calculations
Analyze sanitary and combined sewer modeling outputs to pinpoint areas of high inflow and infiltration (I&I) and develop alternatives to mitigate these issues
Support the development of wet weather control strategies and evaluate alternatives for stormwater and sewer system enhancements
Participate in and lead client, public, project, and internal meetings, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication

5+ years related water/wastewater experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited engineering program
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Familiarity with GIS products (ArcGIS Pro or QGIS) to enhance hydraulic model development and data analysis
Adaptability to handle both straightforward and complex hydraulic modeling tasks, depending on project requirements
Professional Engineer (PE) registration required in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana; or ability to register through reciprocity
Experience with SWMM, PCSWMM, InfoWorks ICM, or other similar hydraulic modeling software
Experience with stormwater and sanitary sewer system design
Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Preferred Skills
General Python scripting knowledge for automating and streamlining manual workflows and calibration processes
