First and foremost, you will be responsible for supporting the Health and Safety Manager with delivery of the operational Health and Safety plan (supporting the Corporate Plan) . The purpose of which is to help provide assurances that our employees are working safely, our systems are implemented and working and to help drive continuous improvement in those areas.
You will also be an important part of our health & safety team and will contribute to the development of our health & safety processes and procedures.
The role will involve forming working relationships across both areas, conducting a planned H&S inspection regime and dealing with general day to day enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
Along with the delivery of a program of inspections across all YHG estates and regions, a similar program of visits across our new build sites for Development will also be one of your key responsibilities as well as providing an advisory service to stakeholders at various levels.
This role is really suited to someone who is personable, inspiring and loves to work with people in a variety of roles across the organisation to really make a difference.
The role is 35 hours a week. You will be primarily home-based, and able to manage your own diary to deliver a program of inspections across all YHG estates and regions required. Ideally you will be based within a reasonable distance of our Head Office in Warrington, which you will also visit (on occasion) to attend meetings and events.
