Working in various procurement environments such as Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects
Coordination: Coordinating the preparation of civil deliverables, drawings and details from conception to final design in a 3D modelling environment such as Civil 3D, according to established standards and procedures for a wide variety of projects. Coordination of all aspects of the civil design including being responsible for the design following the budget and schedule.
Engineering Solutions Design: Leading and developing civil engineering design for track grading, roadway, and multi-modal corridors including median LRT/BRT as well as site development and associated linear infrastructure
Engineering Standards Specification: Analyze information, draft engineering standards and specifications, and evaluate the effectiveness of those standards within own engineering discipline to ensure work of the required quality is delivered and to inform engineering work in the organization and/or of its suppliers, contractors, and consultants.

General Experience: 15+ years’ experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects
Proven record of successful delivery of Transit Infrastructure projects
Competency/expertise in BIM Collaboration tools e.g. (ProjectWise, BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud) (Preferred but not required).
Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering
Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Microstation
Managerial Experience: Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes (13 months to 3 years)
Experience working in an integrated 3D design environment
