Supervise Teacher Assistants and provide performance feedback and coaching to aid their development.
Clean and sanitize food areas (including dishwashing as needed).
Implement daily classroom lesson plans in accordance with curriculum plan.
Serve as an interpreter for parents who do not speak English
Conduct teacher-parent conferences and home visits. (except when restricted by the subbing agency outside subs are employed with).
Organize and maintain instructional and program supplies.
Participate in community events and solicit in-kind community donations to the program.
Conduct safety checks and ensure a safe learning environment.
Set up classrooms for various purposes and take down classrooms at shared use sites.
Maintain records of enrollment, attendance, achievement and other required paperwork, both manual and digital.
Plan and and execute classroom lessons and activities for children
Prepare breakfast and serve prepared meals for children.
Conduct learning and developmental assessments of children
Supervise children while at the site.
Perform Diaper changing for children as needed
Help Children practice good hygiene, including personal cleanliness and diapering, as needed.
Organize and lead physical education activities for children
Assists in recruitment of new students and parent volunteers.
Schedule, support, and follow through with the developmental screening and ongoing assessment of infants’ and toddlers’ motor, language, social, cognitive, perceptual, and emotional skills (including but not limited to DRDP-2015 IT, ASQ-3, ASQ: SE-2, etc.).
Provide proof of the following immunizations as required: Measles, Pertussis (Whooping Cough) and Influenza.

CPR/1ST Aid Certificate

Must pass health screening at time of employment (LIC 503), screening must be completed no later than one year prior to employment, to be renewed every four (2) years.
Representative physical demands of the job include: normal vision and hearing, standing for extended periods, sitting for extended periods, kneeling and stooping, manipulating objects with hands, reaching overhead, and occasionally lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 45 pounds.
