Instruct brokers to make corrections as necessary

Support US Customs valuation reconciliation programs for maquiladora plants
Oversee transfer and inventory control of fixed assets and production equipment
Review new and existing purchased material and finished goods tariff classifications and update ERP and A24-C systems as required.
Develop and maintain work instructions related to import and export operations.
Conduct thorough US and Mexican Customs entry audits
Support and advise service providers (Customs brokerage, bonded warehousing and software) as needed
Inventory control management in accordance with Annex 24 of the RGCE (MX)
Monitor US and MX Federal Register and trade related news feeds and provide information to Modine Corporate Trade Compliance team.
Audit for valuation, classification, quantity, preferential treaties, provisional duties (232, 301, IEEPA, reciprocal, etc.), antidumping and countervailing duties, and any other tariff and non-tariff related regulations for Mexico and the US.
Attend internal and external audit visits related to trade compliance.
Develop and maintain US and MX Customs brokerage key performance indicators

Bilingual English – Spanish
Customs Law, Regulations and Rules (Mexico and USA)

Experience in international logistics (air & ocean)
