Supports system processes and procedures that ensure the stable and reliable operation of gas and non-utility transmission, storage and distribution systems
Coordinates pressure and flow relationships to meet daily nomination requirements at receipt and delivery points in the most efficient manner
Conducts point to point verifications and reviews pressure control and construction procedures, including verifying and compiling data and preparing accurate daily reports and logs
Supports team with compliance of regulatory requirements, including control room policies and procedures
Supports a 24-hour/day operation with 12-hour rotating shifts
Supports execution of storage field priorities and minimization of company fuel use under the direction of a senior team member
Assists with monitoring the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system to identify and support the appropriate responses to abnormal operating conditions

Experience in SCADA controls (e.g., gas pipeline control rooms, hazardous liquids pipeline control rooms, refinery or distillery control rooms, etc.)
Proficient verbal, written and presentation skills
High school diploma or GED and two years of technical experience in alternative energy (wind/solar/hydro), water/sewage processing, hydrocarbon liquids processing, natural gas transmission/distribution, mechanical, electrical, and/or communications technician area
Ability to manage routine/ongoing tasks while responding to emergency situations under the direction of a senior or principal controller
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word
Associate degree or technical certification in electrical, mechanical, or related field
