Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required. ABET accredited program or equivalent required. Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power is a plus.
Experience providing expert testimony for public outreach and PUC hearings is preferred.
Must have the ability to travel across the United States and Canada
Proficient with PSCAD, PSSE, CDEGS, EPRI workstations, and ATP
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, clients and external agencies
Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
10+ years of engineering experience,
Proven track record of delivering complex transmission line studies for large scale, 500kV or above projects, from feasibility through detailed design.
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including IEEE, NESC, CIGRE, EPRI, and others. Active participant on related industry committee is preferred.
Highly driven toward team success and professional growth.
Experience working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.
PE License required
Ability to work in a high-paced team environment
Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Up to 15% travel required
