The Assistant Project Manager is accountable for every aspect of a project, leading a team to meet or exceed client expectations. Successful managers assemble and coordinate individuals to create a fine‑tuned project machine.
In this role you provide overall leadership and set the course for the project, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budget, and quality standards. You assess client requirements and devise implementation, procurement, and execution strategies that address constructability, cost, and schedule. You formulate procurement plans, identify opportunities to optimise time, quality and cost, and develop staffing and contract‑management approaches in collaboration with the client.
You lead design review meetings to align outcomes with client objectives and the broader business strategy. You manage multiple stakeholder teams, including client, design, quality, audit, CRM/marketing, and facility‑management groups, and you handle escalations at senior levels. You review construction methods for feasibility, improvement opportunities, and cost‑effective alternatives while monitoring overall project execution and applying Cushman & Wakefield policies on site.
