Senior Staff Accountant

The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for performing general accounting functions including processing invoices, tracking, and reporting expenses, check runs, inventory analysis, accounts receivable. You will work alongside other Staff Accounts, Operations, and Project Management teams. The Senior Staff Accountant should be an experienced and organized individual with a drive to follow and improve procedures. This is a full-time position with benefits including: Health, Retirement, and Vacation. Salary range from 60,000 - 70,000k annually. Additional consideration given to exceptional candidates.

• Perform general accounting functions in accordance with company policy.
• Investigate and resolve problems associated with the processing of invoices and purchase orders.
• Validate and process inventory receipts for payment.
• Perform accounts receivable functions in accordance with company policy and general accounting principles.
• Prepare and perform check runs.
• Match purchase orders and packing slips with corresponding invoices.
• Assist with month end closing, physical inventory counts, and analysis. Manage communication with warehouse regarding inventory planning and assemblies.
• Track expenses and process expense reports and credit card charges.

• Manufacturing and/or inventory management experience
• 10+ years Accounting Experience
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, processes, procedures, and standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
• Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively without loss of accuracy.
• Detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
