The Residential Security Manager leads an armed security team that provides residential protection for corporate executives, their families, and guests at designated properties of our Las Vegas‑based hospitality company. The role operates in high‑profile domestic environments and must be performed in accordance with Las Vegas Sands Corp. policies, practices, and professional standards.
The manager develops goals and enforces property policies, oversees daily shift operations, and ensures asset protection through surveillance monitoring, risk assessments, and adjustments to security measures. Responsibilities include staffing, resource coordination, training new agents, tracking certifications, updating SOPs, managing time and attendance in Workday, and maintaining safety practices. The manager regularly communicates with Executive Protection Management, monitors agent performance, provides coaching, reviews shift reports for accuracy, and maintains a visible presence by patrolling residences.
Minimum qualifications include 3–5 years of military, law‑enforcement, commercial‑property or private‑security experience, being at least 21 years old, and possessing legal authorization to work in the United States. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Nevada driver’s license, and be able to obtain a concealed‑weapon permit, as well as demonstrate tactical shooting and basic martial‑arts abilities. Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
Physical requirements demand the ability to lift or carry up to 200 pounds unassisted, meet the team’s fitness and firearms standards, and access workspaces with or without reasonable accommodation. The role may involve indoor and outdoor work and exposure to environmental factors such as noise, dust, and CRT.
