Technical Evaluation & Due Diligence - Lead technical due diligence for new project acquisitions and greenfield developments. - Evaluate and recommend PV module, inverter, structure, and BoS technologies. - Conduct energy yield assessments, performance simulations, and design optimization studies. - Support business development and bid teams with technical inputs, design configurations, and cost assumptions.
3. Vendor & Contractor Management - Define technical specifications for EPC, equipment, and service contracts. - Review and approve design submissions from EPC / contractors. - Coordinate with key equipment suppliers (modules, inverters, structures, cables, transformers, SCADA). - Ensure timely review and approval of engineering documents and drawings.
4. Team Leadership - Build and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team (electrical, civil, mechanical, instrumentation). - Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and innovation. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams — Projects, SCM, BD, Finance, O&M.
The Head – Engineering will lead the engineering function for the company’s solar PV portfolio, overseeing complete project design and engineering — from feasibility to commissioning. The role will ensure that all designs are optimized for cost, performance, reliability, and compliance with regulatory and technical standards. The position requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise, and experience in driving engineering excellence across multiple utility-scale solar projects.

1. Design & Engineering Leadership - Lead all aspects of engineering design (basic, detailed, and execution) for utility scale solar PV plants. - Develop and standardize design templates, technical specifications, and engineering guidelines. - Oversee preparation and review of key engineering deliverables — layouts, SLDs, string designs, earthing layouts, cable schedules, control logic, SCADA architecture, etc. - Ensure optimal plant design for maximum generation and minimum LCOE.

▪ Familiarity with SCADA systems, grid integration, and energy storage solutions.
▪ Hands on Experience of PV Syst, AutoCad & StadPro.
▪ Understanding of renewable power evacuation systems (substations, transmission lines).
▪ Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimization.
▪ Strong understanding of Design & Engineering of Solar PV Projects.
Experience Required : 8– 15 years of relevant work experience
