Description

Reporting to the Community Manager, the Assistant Community Manager supports all facets of community operations, from supervising staff and assisting leasing to ensuring tax‑credit compliance and handling financial tasks such as rent collection and budgeting.

• Supervise community associates alongside the Community Manager.
• Provide customer service and assist with leasing activities.
• Ensure tax‑credit compliance through training, audits, inspections, and reporting.
• Support leasing and marketing initiatives.
• Prepare paperwork for new and renewal leases.
• Recommend rental rate adjustments or concessions.
• Review resident accounts, communicate balances, and enforce lease terms to collect delinquencies.
• Aid resident loyalty and retention programs.
• Organize daily work and community operations.
• Collect, post, and deposit rents, security deposits, and other income.
• Help maintain budgeted occupancy and collection targets.

Peak Living is currently seeking a qualified Assistant Community Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of on‑site Assistant Community Manager or leasing experience in multifamily or hospitality settings, preferably with LIHTC experience and CAM/ARM or HCCP certifications, and must be proficient in English.

• Minimum 1 year experience as an onsite Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Consultant in multifamily housing, hospitality, or similar.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• At least 1 year experience in LIHTC communities preferred.
• Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
