Apartment Leasing Manager

Description

In this role you will oversee leasing operations and support daily community functions, ensuring strong occupancy, timely rent collection, and smooth resident transitions. You will also coach leasing agents, maintain confidential resident information, and collaborate with the Property Manager and onsite team to drive community success.

• Lease apartments to maintain occupancy and meet revenue goals.
• Manage rent collection, post rent, and issue late notices.
• Process move‑out notices, service requests, and resident transfer requests.
• Support managerial duties and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and documentation.
• Prepare reports, administrative paperwork, and leasing documentation.
• Maintain an active social‑media presence to increase visibility and generate traffic.
• Coach and develop leasing agents to improve leasing performance.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective renters.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager and onsite team to support community success.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has at least three years of assistant‑manager experience in the apartment industry with a strong leasing track record, excellent sales, customer service, and communication skills, and a professional demeanor. A flexible schedule, reliable transportation, and a stable work history are required, with social‑media or marketing experience and bilingual abilities considered a plus.
