In this role you will conduct CBRN detection operations under the direction of federal staff, coordinate with stakeholders, manage equipment, plan logistics, develop and deliver training, and produce situational and after‑action reports. You will also manage regional documentation, maintain both electronic and paper files, support fleet management, and adhere to professional standards set by MDDP, CWMD, and DHS.
Travel may require up to 75 % of the month across the contiguous United States and territories, sometimes involving back‑to‑back trips exceeding a week. The position may involve supporting the Project Manager directly or acting as Acting PM for periods not longer than thirty consecutive days.
The firm is seeking an exceptionally talented MDDU CBRN Task Based Technical Support Specialist for an as‑needed, non‑full‑time role. The position is part of the Federal Solutions segment, which delivers resources and services to U.S. government customers across defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental missions.
Candidates must hold an active Secret security clearance (or higher) and be able to obtain DHS suitability. Required qualifications include at least ten years of experience in radiological and nuclear detection and training, expertise with mobile/portable radiation detection systems, RIIDs, PRDs, and auxiliary equipment, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a valid driver’s license with Class B CDL capability are also essential.
