Risk & Governance Director

• Oversee compliance activities for critical regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, NIS)
• Deliver insights on risk trends, governance maturity, and strategic initiatives to the CISO and executive team
• Establish mechanisms to implement, monitor, and enforce adherence to governance principles organisation-wide
• Develop and maintain governance policies across all departments, ensuring alignment with global standards
• Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide risk management framework
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and legal teams to integrate compliance into daily business practices
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure risks are consistently identified, assessed, and mitigated across all business areas
• This role is critical in ensuring governance and risk practices are embedded across all areas of the organisation, fostering collaboration and enabling leadership to make informed decisions
• Manage the enterprise risk register, ensuring proactive mitigation and reporting to the CISO
• Partner with leadership to align risk appetite and tolerance with business strategy
• Provide high-level analysis and recommendations to the executive team on risk trends and governance improvements
