Description

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical systems in construction applications and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment
• Install, repair, and maintain motors, transformers, generators, lighting systems, circuits, and other electrical components
• Utilize hand and power tools along with electronic testing equipment
• Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, specifications, and work orders to determine project requirements and the sequence of work
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code and company safety and quality standards
• Use and maintain electrical and electronic test equipment properly and safely
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
• Utilize electronic systems to submit time records, complete safety reports, and document work progress
• Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task
• Observe habits and hazards of others and bring them to attention
• Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company and support achieving zero accidents
• Promote open communication between field and office regarding safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed
• Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel
• Travel to various construction sites, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise, and the need to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, bend, climb ladders, reach and handle with fingers, and differentiate colors
• Maintain a consistent workload involving significant physical manual labor, with projects inside or outside
• Perform work at heights up to 90' from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, and cat walks and work in restricted areas

Requirements

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in compliance with the National Electrical Code. This includes interpreting blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met across construction and industrial job sites. The role requires proficiency with tools, electrical testing equipment, and digital reporting systems, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
• Completion of electrical apprenticeship program preferred
• Electrical installation experience preferred
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity – both are non‑negotiable
• Ability to self‑start, display solid work ethic, and respect others
• Lift at least 50 pounds
• Constant movement on feet
• Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
