The D365 CE/F&O Report Developer is responsible for designing, enhancing, and maintaining business intelligence and operational reporting across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and D365 Customer Engagement (including Field Service). This position partners closely with business stakeholders to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that support informed, data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and maintain custom and modified reports, dashboards, and BI solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
- Provide advanced technical support for reporting issues, including debugging, performance optimization, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting needs, gather business requirements, and translate them into clear technical specifications.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and structure data for reporting, leveraging OData and Transact-SQL integrations to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Develop and maintain documentation for reports, configurations, and processes, and assist end users with training on accessing and utilizing reporting tools.
- Design custom features and extensions within D365 F&O, coordinating with the development team to communicate implementation details.

- Proven experience with Power BI, SQL Power Query, Transact-SQL, DAX, and SSRS.
- Attention to safety, compliance, and risk awareness.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and vice versa.
- Effective collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong functional knowledge of D365 F&O and D365 CE core business modules, including Finance (AP/AR/GL), Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and Field Service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong customer focus and responsiveness to business needs.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Familiarity with construction or field service operations.
