Maintain detailed operational logs throughout your shift
Support the AMC Supervisor in delivering the broader security strategy
Produce and manage Southern Water access control cards
Monitor CCTV feeds and respond to incidents according to established protocols
Track and verify alarm activations across the estate, initiating appropriate responses
Conduct scheduled remote tests and checks of security systems
Manage remote access permissions in line with security guidelines

Clear and effective communication—both written and verbal
Experience in matrix organisations and providing security guidance
Solid understanding of CCTV legislation and operational security disciplines
Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
Experience working in a busy alarm monitoring/control room (minimum 3 years in a corporate setting)
Confidence in managing sensitive conversations and incidents
Membership in a recognised security body (e.g., Security Institute, ASIS) preferred
SIA CCTV and Door Supervisor licenses is essential
Strong observational and analytical skills, especially under pressure
You will either have or be willing to obtain CTC security clearance
Familiarity with integrated security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control)
Proven collaboration with law enforcement or security agencies
Ability to make sound decisions within defined guidelines
