Trainee Quantity Surveyor

You’ll work closely with our Senior Quantity Surveyor, Project Managers, and site teams to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Trainee Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial and financial management of construction projects while learning the technical and practical skills needed to become a fully qualified Quantity Surveyor.

• Assisting with preparation of monthly valuations and final accounts
• Assisting with preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
• Monitoring project costs and reporting on expenditure
• Keeping accurate records of site activities, progress, and costs
• Following health, safety, and quality requirements on all projects
• Helping to measure and value works, both on-site and from drawings
• Supporting with procurement of materials, subcontractors, and suppliers

Our office is based in Wrexham, and the role will involve travel to sites across the North West — therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to your own transport is essential (or, someone who is currently learning).

• Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Studying (or recently completed) a degree, HND, or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related subject
• Learning to assess variations, claims, and progress payments
• Strong numerical and analytical ability
