The firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead federal construction projects for the GSA on a 100 % on‑site assignment. The role carries direct accountability for project delivery, monitoring progress, reviewing contracts, budgets and schedules, and ensuring work complies with approved drawings and specifications.

Monitor on‑site construction progress and ensure work is performed in a good, workmanlike manner.
Review status of completed work, contractor payment requisitions, and overall budget health.
Evaluate subcontracts, bonds, default insurance, and change orders for compliance.
Assess developer’s monthly job‑cost reports, contingency adequacy, and construction schedules.
Verify lien waivers and related documentation submitted by the developer.
Prepare project status reports and recommend release of construction funds.
Examine contract drawings and specifications for completeness and alignment with architectural/engineering standards.
Analyze direct and indirect cost budgets, coordinate with Cost Advisory for estimates and quantity take‑offs.
Comment on construction agreements, subcontracts, design agreements, loan agreements, and qualifications of contractors and architects.
Generate and review major milestones, design packages, submittals (RFIs, COs), value‑engineering and constructability reviews, and code compliance certifications.
Produce Construction Risk Assessment Reports and adhere to applicable SOX controls.

Minimum 12 years experience on federal or public‑funded construction projects, preferably with $100 M+ LPOE contracts.
Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or Registered Architect licensure.
Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and analytical abilities.
Advanced financial knowledge, including budgeting, cost estimation, and business analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, and ability to read architectural drawings.
Knowledge of construction best practices, building codes, permitting, and delivery methods.
Experience with GSA projects, JMAR/DB processes, and E‑builder preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or related field; 15 years project management experience desired.
Ability to present information effectively and provide courteous customer service.
