In this position you will travel across North America supporting automation projects, performing on‑site checks, testing systems, and keeping customers and project teams informed of progress.

• Support on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks for data center startups.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test, troubleshoot, and validate systems on‑site.
• Communicate progress and updates clearly to customers and project teams.
• Follow rotating travel schedules (e.g., 5 on‑2 off, 10 on‑4 off, or 14 on‑7 off) across North America.

We are looking for candidates who love travel, have a solid foundation in electrical and programming concepts, and demonstrate adaptability, strong communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Physical Requirements. The role requires the ability to walk long distances across large facilities, climb ladders or work at heights, lift and move up to 50 lb, and stand, kneel, or reach for extended periods in varied environments such as construction sites, outdoors, or hot/cold conditions. • Possess a genuine love of travel and ability to be away from home for extended periods.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and communication networking.
• Exhibit adaptability, grit, strong communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Live within 50 mi of a major airport and have a personal vehicle available within 45 days of hire.
• Hold a technical degree or 3+ years of hands‑on experience in electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering.
• Meet physical requirements: walk long distances, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, stand/kneel for extended periods, and work in varied environments.

Fair Pay That Grows With You. Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000, depending on location, education, and experience. In addition, you’ll receive per‑diem for meals, mileage reimbursement, utilization and weekend bonuses, plus the trust and teamwork of a people‑first company.
