Tasks

-Ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are consistently met. -Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to advancing best practices in coastal resilience. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, government stakeholders, and community partners. -Conduct coastal process assessments, shoreline management studies, and risk evaluations. -Lead the delivery of coastal engineering projects across multiple Caribbean islands, from concept to construction. -Travel extensively (up to 75%) to provide on-site technical leadership and project management.

-Demonstrated ability to lead projects internationally and adapt to different regional contexts. -Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences. -8+ years of progressive coastal engineering experience, including fieldwork and project management. -Willingness and enthusiasm to travel extensively across the Caribbean. -Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Canada, or ability to obtain. -Degree in Coastal, Civil, Ocean or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred). -Strong background in coastal processes, modeling, shoreline protection, ports, or related marine infrastructure.
