Tasks

-Assure accurate productivity. Collect/record quality check data on every shift. -Provide leadership and direction to production and maintenance personnel. Develop team goals and objectives. -Use Lean Six Sigma methods and tools to manage the business and improve performance. Review production data in SAP system and make necessary changes. -Establish key measures and realistic objectives for the Team. Hold regular safety and team meetings. Train employees using the Jobs skills training and verification process to assure proper and consistent training of the workforce. -Ensure product meets all quality standards -Communicate critical information to shift personnel. Coordinate shift maintenance duties. Coach, council, motivate and discipline employees as necessary. -Know and follow all policies and procedures and hold team accountable to them. Act as main safety contact for shift addressing issues immediately as they arise to keep team safe. -Manage daily production schedule, optimize productivity, address daily bottlenecks, and rectify daily quality and processing problems. -Promote unwavering commitment to the Synthomer Core Values, Safety, Health, and Environmental Principles, and Safety Golden Rules

-Strong verbal and written skills. -Familiar with PSM Process Safety Management -Coaching, meeting management and facilitation skills. -Leadership Competency requirements: Demonstrate a working proficiency level in the -Experience with SAP -Exceptional demonstrated leadership skills required -Safety Awareness, PPE and safe practices knowledge -High School Diploma/GED in Business, Supply Chain or related field and at least three years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment. -Initiative, Business Ethics and Communication Effectiveness, Relationship Building. -5 years of Chemical Plant Experience -Demonstrated experience around key Working Relationships and Accountabilities with: Production, Maintenance, Engineering Departments and Supervision of vendors and outside contracts. -Works well independently and in team environment -Ability to motivate and coach employees -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
