Bid Manager

Description

• Coordinate resources, delivery structures, and designer appointments while chairing bid meetings and ensuring timely completion of actions
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders, managing communications, technical queries, and showcasing technical, quality, and experience requirements in submissions
• Define bid-winning strategies, manage pre-bid preparation, and influence tender approaches through contract, commercial, and supply chain discussions
• Oversee tender programmes, risk and opportunity registers, and conduct thorough bid reviews to ensure logical, well-planned bids and seamless handover to delivery teams
• Lead tender development and bid teams from opportunity identification through contract award, ensuring high-quality submissions and compliance with governance processes

Requirements

• Proven experience in bid or preconstruction management within a Tier 1 Construction environment
• Strong understanding of the bid process, particularly value propositioning, commercial and estimating understanding
• Proficient user of Microsoft software (i.e. Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• A strong track record of developing bid strategies and delivering successful bids
