Accounts Payable Representative

Description

• Build friendly relationships with vendors
• Analyze accounts, obtain missing invoices, and resolve discrepancies
• Develop rapport with assigned Element lab(s)
• Maintain and review weekly invoice status spreadsheets
• Enter, code, date‑stamp, and file invoices
• Execute check runs, pulling invoices for payment and delivering checks
• Serve as AP knowledge partner for assigned labs and vendors
• Read and interpret accounting documents accurately
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
• Calculate invoice amounts, payment terms, and cash balances
• Stay calm under tight deadlines and multiple priorities

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years multi‑site AP experience (or 1 year with an accounting degree)
• Apply strong analytical and accounting principles
• Demonstrate problem‑resolution skills
• Maintain high attention to detail
• Proficient with accounting software systems
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
