  • Develop and maintain process documentation, policies, and procedures
  • Deliver specialist water quality training to operational staff
  • Ensure compliance with Water Quality Regulations and company policies at treatment sites
  • Support daily activities of the Water Quality department and represent the team in cross-departmental meetings
  • Identify risks in treatment controls and propose effective mitigation strategies
  • Conduct reactive risk assessments as required
  • Provide expert advice on water treatment processes and support investment projects and operations
  • Investigate breaches of standards or poor performance and produce detailed reports
  • Analyse and interpret water quality and operational data (including SCADA) to optimise plant performance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Degree or HND in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Environmental Science, Microbiology)

  • Full, valid UK driving licence
  • Strong IT proficiency, including data analysis tools
