The Transaction Manager will join the expanding ABF team to structure and oversee asset‑backed financing, securitizations, and platform investments. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure compliance, manage life‑cycle events, and support rating agency interactions, while bringing strong analytical, interpersonal, and writing skills to the team.
- Direct transaction processes, including due‑diligence review, legal documentation, licensing, filing, asset eligibility assessment, and template standardization.
- Assist in closing credit financings, securitization deals, and other business arrangements.
- Coordinate with third‑party partners such as diligence providers, underwriters, custodians, rating agencies, trustees, and external counsel.
- Provide insights to improve programs and increase efficiency in the transaction workflow.
- Collaborate with internal ABF stakeholders and Sixth Street teams (legal, ESG, tax, KYC, capital formation, compliance).

- Experience in financings, securitizations, and capital‑markets transactions, preferably at a major law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory issues affecting securities, ABS, MBS, and CMBS markets.
- Creative problem‑solving ability to advise teams alongside counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with capacity to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- JD degree, active bar membership, and at least four years of relevant experience.
Benefits
The position offers a base salary between $200,000 and $250,000, an annual discretionary bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life, disability insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid holidays and sick leave. Compensation may vary for locations outside New York.
