The Electrical Estimator reports to the Securement Manager and works from the Mississauga, ON office. The role is responsible for delivering accurate cost estimates and subcontractor pricing throughout the budgeting and estimating phases of projects.

Develop accurate electrical estimates and takeoffs following company procedures.
Solicit and obtain pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
Calculate general expenses and contribute to margin/fee inputs.
Review project documents to identify requirements, risks, and value‑engineering opportunities.
Coordinate with clients and consultants to clarify scope and resolve issues.
Create preliminary construction schedules to price time‑related activities.
Summarize estimates and lead detailed review sessions with management.
Manage tender closing, post‑tender negotiations, and submission processes.
Support pre‑construction services such as budgeting, cost plans, and lead generation.
Maintain databases of labour rates, material costs, and historical estimate data.

Demonstrated skill in building and maintaining relationships with teams, sub‑trades, and clients.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, math, and attention‑to‑detail capabilities.
Effective written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
