Production Assembler

Overview

Assemble windows and components, lift heavy materials, follow safety and quality standards.

Tasks

-Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers -Read production paperwork, labels, and computer files -Understand and meet the operation performance standards established for each workstation/position -Maintain and clean work area -Operate any equipment as requested to perform job -Maintain regular attendance and work overtime as required -Read and use a tape measure -Inspect, examine and identify products that may be defective -Read and carry out written instructions -Make fraction and decimal conversions

What You Bring

-Basic reading, writing and math skills. -Understand and carry out oral instructions -The ability to interact with people beyond giving and receiving instructions. -Must work safely, always using Personal Protective Equipment, following the company’s safety procedures and policies. -High School Diploma is preferred. -Understands and follows quality guidelines -Ability to problem solve with or without oral or written instructions -Good interpersonal skills are needed to operate in and maintain a team environment. -Manual dexterity required for assembly work and operating machinery. -Must be able to perform all essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily, including completing daily expectations within established takt times.
