Rolls-Royce SMR is seeking an experienced External Hazards Lead to play a pivotal role in the development of our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Power Station and the successful completion of the Generic Design Assessment (GDA) process. You will also assess potential future sites for suitability against the Environment, Safety, Security and Safeguards (E3S) Case.

Experience with UK civil nuclear regulatory regime (or similar).
Background in Nuclear Power Plant design.
Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of external hazards and safety case development.
Education: Degree in Engineering, Maths, Physics, or equivalent experience.
