Real Estate Billing Coordinator

• Support annual budgeting and forecasting of tax adjustments
• Manage utility accounts across our property portfolio, including new accounts, transfers, and terminations
• Process invoices, allocations and tenant billing
• Monitor due dates, appeal dates, and payments
• Support basic accounting functions such as expense verification, billing, and variance reporting
• Collaborate with both Property Management and Accounting teams for broad career exposure
• Support tenants with utility questions
• Process accounts payable for utilities and taxes, ensuring coding, accuracy, and on-time payments
• Coordinate trash/recycling contracts
• Partner with property managers and accountants to solve problems, streamline processes, and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Assist with outside tax appeal teams by providing property and tenant data

We are seeking a detail-oriented, early-career accounting professional to join our team as a Billing Coordinator. This entry-level role offers hands-on exposure to accounting and property management functions, while working closely with both our Property Management and Accounting teams. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, comfortable with numbers, motivated to build a career in commercial real estate accounting and operations.

• Internship or 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or commercial real estate preferred (Recent graduates are welcome!)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); exposure to MRI, Sage or AvidXchange is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with numbers, invoices and allocations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
