Ensure adherence to all U.S. Coast Guard, state, and company safety and environmental regulations.
Operate and routinely maintain a variety of vessels in coastal and inland waterways, including navigation through/around narrow channels, in-water/overwater structures (bridges, piers, for example), and sensitive environments.
Safely trailer and transport vessels using non-CDL truck and trailer combinations to designated project sites.
Support SCUBA-based field activities and ensure compliance with established safety protocols and AAUS standards.
Maintain accurate vessel logs, records, and required documentation.
Coordinate vessel operations with field staff and provide logistical support for project implementation.

Proficiency in trailering, launching, and retrieving vessels with non-CDL truck and trailer combinations.
Ability to travel throughout Florida; per diem provided for overnight travel.
Valid U.S. Coast Guard Captain's License (minimum OUPV or higher).
Demonstrated experience operating vessels in both coastal and inland waterways, including restricted/narrow passages and around in-water/overwater structures.
Familiarity with vessel maintenance and repair procedures.
Valid boat captain license.
Adapt to seasonal project schedules that may require a flexible workweek and extended travel within Florida.
Experience in Coastal, Estuarine Waters and Adjacent Rivers - Familiarity with tides, currents, shallow drafts, and sandbars.
Strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and professional conduct.
Strong communication skills.
Prior experience supporting environmental, scientific, or restoration field operations.
SCUBA certification and current CPR/First Aid certification.
Strong coordination skills in team-based field settings.
Proficiency in GPS, Navigation System and Chartplotter Use
