2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor- Cranbury, NJ

Description

• Communicate status updates throughout the evening with the other shift supervisors and managers.
• This job is performed in a large distribution center warehouse environment.
• Motivate employees to meet productivity goals and efficiency goals.
• Work closely with our maintenance mechanics to ensure that Dematic system is fully operational.
• Ensure that staff is appropriately trained in picking/packing, and quality control.
• Provide supervision to team leaders and warehouse associates who are assigned to pick and pack orders utilizing Dematic warehouse automation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• The ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform various duties.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• The ability to safely operate appropriate powered industrial trucks. Training will be provided.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull material and objects weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier weights with proper equipment.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to operate computers and/or relevant warehouse computer software.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.
• Fluency in Spanish
• The ability to stand and walk for the full length of the assigned shift.
