

Building and civil engineering contractor offering a range of construction services.
Provide the planning function to successfully deliver the requirements of both traditional ICE and NEC contracts
Develop and monitor live project programmes, including producing progress reports
Provide pre-construction input with the support of the Planning Department / Pre-construction team
Produce project delivery programmes and provide the planning functions required, i.e. CPA, resourcing, cost loading, S-curves, EVM, quality checks, etc
Primarily act as the main contact to provide planning input to deliver live civils projects
Produce and develop pre-construction programmes, incorporating design and procurement elements, to facilitate the delivery programme
Experienced in delivering various types of schemes, including infrastructure, marine works, energy, environmental, geotechnical and construction engineering
Minimum 5-10 years’ planning experience
Familiar with the planning demands of the various types of civils contracts, specifically JCT and NEC requirements
Be available to travel to sites throughout the UK to deliver programme/planning function as required
The successful Planner will report directly to the Head of Planning and you will be based at our Belfast office and be required to travel throughout the UK to assist in delivery of our projects.
Fully conversant with various contract procurement routes and planning requirements
Experience in claims/delay analysis and forensic planning would be advantageous
The successful Planner will be experienced with delivering civils projects and will provide the pre-construction/tender and live project delivery planning resource for our civil engineering projects.
Be able to deliver programmes in industry standard project management software applications, including Powerproject, P6 & Microsoft Project
Proficient with industry standard project management software applications, specifically Powerproject, P6 and Microsoft Project
Prior experience in a planning position or a similar role in the civils / construction industry, delivering high quality projects as well as tender experience
